MEET MY PETS

AKITA
Akita's story is one of many little kitties in this world.  She was an abandoned kitty, who was left by her previous owners.  She was roaming the streets, when she happened to come by my house.  The sad little face won me over.  She was matted, her fur was covered in burrs, she was mangled and worst off, she was preggers....she was not practicing SAFE SEX!  To top it all she was flea infested.

After a trip to the doctor's office, Ms. Akita, got rid of her fleas, was given a big cage to sleep in, kept warm and out of harms way.  She was confined as I had another kitty, Einstein at the time, and I didn't want her to catch anything from Akita.

So, one day when I came home, Ms. Akita gave birth to 3 little kittens. Unfortunately, one kitty died at birth (so sad)....however, her other two healthy kitty's were beautiful boys.  I named them Sebasitan and Mozart..(see insert below Akita's photo)

Akita, now lives happily in my home.  I've had her for 12 years, so that makes her about 15+....the vet said she was 6 when I found her...so if that is the case, she would be 18 years old today!  She is a very happy kitty, and she enjoys sleeping in one of her 3 cat beds.  She is now a senior citizen and enjoying retirement.

AKITA ENJOYING UNWRAPPING HER STOCKING
I'M SERIOUSLY TOO OLD FOR THIS!!!

I SO ENJOY THE COMFORTS OF MY BED!

MOZART
Mozart has been an aristroCAT.  His life is one that is truly blessed.  He is the son of Akita. He is 12 years old. He was born in the house and has always been an indoor cat.  He refuses to even step outdoors.  The one day, I placed him outside so he could experience the outdoor air, and he FREAKED OUT! It was NOT for him.
Mozart's name originated from the famous composer, "Mozart".....really, who would have ever known it was the perfect name for him.  He has a high pitched meow, and truly sounds more like a girl than a boy.
He is a very shy and timid kitty.  He is seldom to be seen, and really does not like NONNA.  When Nonna comes to take care of him, he hides behind the washer and dryer.  Her big Italian sandals scare him!!!
Regardless of Mozarts timid ways, he is a very affectionate and loving boy, who enjoys giving me massages while I lie in bed.  Nothing beats paw massages on your back while sleeping! Meow, Meow for Mozart!

I KNOW I'M HANDSOME!

SUCKED IN MARCO - THE PERCH IS MINE!

THIS IS MY GOOD SIDE FOR THIS PHOTO SHOOT!

MARCO
Then there came a little black kitty cat...let's call him CHAT NOIR with an attitude. This little kitty was roaming the streets and getting into fights that he could not handle.  One day he came into my backyard with a large bump on his head.  Probably from Dougie our neighbours kitty.  This kitty "Chat Noir" was always picking fights with others but he was definitely ALL TALK and very LITTLE ACTION!

This guy needed some interCATion....and that's when I opened my door, and he walked right in!  He made himself welcome from the moment he pranced into the house.  He OWNED it!  And it didn't matter that Akita and Mozart already were MASTERS of the house....he was aimed to change that!

So, with the attitude that he demonstrated, there was only one name to be given and that was MARCO....a true ITALIAN cat! He loves all Italian food, give him some spicy Italian sausage and it's like heaven! He is definitely spoiled, but he loves attention and makes sure to talk to everyone that comes into the house...except for NONNA...he too, will run for the hills when she comes to visit!

Marco has soft, shiny fur, and the greenest eyes and he is 8 years old!

WHO SAYS I HAVE ATTITUDE?

THIS IS MY PERCH....HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO TELL YOU THAT?

SERIOUSLY HUMILIATING.....WHAT AM I A DOG?
